Default H9 Sukhoi & ZDZ 80 pics

Pics of my Sukhoi w/ ZDZ 80. Weight 23 lbs 10 oz. That is including wheel pants, dash panel & 40% pilot figure. Under the hatch are the batteries, Rx, pull-pull rudder servo and throttle servo. Ignition battery & module are under thecowl mounted on top the motor box. All landing gear is carbon fiber. Plenty of power, and a blast to fly. Not the best precision model though.

Thrust? not sure how to measure that. I'm using a Menz 26-10. At 23 lbs 10 oz it nearly rockets out of a hover!

Very nice set up Ryan.

I have a NIB Sukhoi and have been waiting for the ever allusive DA 75cc engine. If the engine is not out by next spring I'll go for the ZDZ as well. Hope you enjoy it!!

John, what engine do you have in your Sukhoi?
It looks like the plug caps fit inside the cowl.

Default RE: H9 Sukhoi & ZDZ 80 pics

Does anyone have any experience with a Sukhoi with the ZDZ 100NG? I have this combo setting in my front room waiting for me to give it some attention. Will be dressed out like my previous sukhoi exctept for the 100NG instead of the 80RV. I would like to talk with someone that has the same engine plane combo about the cuttouts on the cowl, engine placement on the firewall, servo setup and battery placement for balance purposes. On my old Sukhoi, I had to add weight up front with the servos in a stock location. With the 100NG weighing in at only 1/2 lb. heavier I at least exchange deadweight for power. Does anyone have a mounting template from ZDZ/RC Showcase that they could email to me? Any advice or tips will be greatly appreciated.
