Bambula Props
Please share your experiences with this line of props from Rcshowcase.
Has anyone tried one on a DA100?
Do they really put a bigger load on the engine?
Does the square tip help or hinder power?
Thanks
Craig

Bambula
Hi Craig,
A couple of guys mentioned they're using them on their ZDZ80's in a thread called "ZDZ 80 single owners please respond. " in the Giant Engines forum. Dick Hanson is also using them. You might try writing those guys and find out how they like them.

Bambula Props
The 26x10 Bambula is the best prop we have found for the DA100----for these reasons:
It does not make that GD ripping sound.
It pulls very hard
Here is the downside:
You can't brag about how much rpm you get on a 26x10 - it loads the engine about the same as a MenzS 27x10.
And--
It is not expensive -no Koool factor.
Two local guys who have DA100's -good setups --tried the 26x10 and both said it was the best prop for their models -flying IMAC- Unlimited and Advanced. Both were 25 lb models .
RPM s were in low 6000 range.

Bambula Props
Thanks Dick, very good info. I am seriously thinking about giving one a try.
Do you know the weight of the 26x10?
I fly mostly aerobatics, attempting 3D, I want to be sure the prop will spool up fast.
Thanks
Craig

Prop is light - about like MenzS-
Actually for 3D - you may find this prop a bit too much load - unless your model is quite light.
as compared to the Mejzlic etc.
On a "typical" 25lb DA100 setup - it is good.

Bambula Props
I hope to get around 26 lbs. The low 6000's is the avg. range for the DA100. Any more RPMs and the noise starts climbing.
I guess I will have to try one to really know. Not too expensive in the scheme of things.
Do any of you know anything about the Fuch's props or should I make another thread on that?
Thanks

Bambula Props
Fuchs- nope -
I adopted an attitude about engine /model combos years back - Here it is
If you have to find a prop which provides enough performance for your model -- The engine is not correct.
Or simply put- If you have enough power - the prop really doesn't matter.
My new 11 lb 40 cc plane confirms that.
It flies well turning under about 4000 rpm.
Now to try the same approach with the bigger stuff- we are starting with a 210 cc ZDZ.and a 34x14 prop---
If it doesn't pan out - we can always charge kids for a ride ----

Bambula Props
I HAVE A 22X11 THREE BLADE ON A G-62. PULLS MY 29LBS. STUKA PRETTEY WELL, BUT I THINK THE MEZJLIK 22X10 IS A LITTLE BETTER PERFORMANCE WISE PLUS ITS $20.00 CHEAPER THAN THE FUCHS. BOTH ARE PRETTY PROPS, BUT AFTER YOU PAINT THE TIPS AND ADD THE SCALE PROP MANUFACTURING STICKER ON IT, THE BEAUTY IS GONE. I'LL STICK WITH THE MEZJLIKS UNLESS I CANT GET ONE THEN I'LL BY THE FUCHS. HOPE THIS HELPS. OH, I HAVE A BAMBULA 20X8 ON A FOX 2.4 ITS A BACK UP PROP. I LIKE THE MEZJLIK 20X8 BETTER.

Bambula Props
woodscra,
Why would you avoid these props? They are a good value for the money, light and quiet, and they are readily available. The ZDZ-80 with the 26x10 pull real strong in the 6000 rpm range, you really should give this prop a try.

Bambula Props
Hi Giant:
I was speaking about the Fuch's props, however I did not make that clear as I re-read my post. I do think I will try a 26x10 MSC to see how I like it.
ARe you speaking of the Fuch's or Bambula?
