Default Large P-51

Hi All!

Just picked up a very large, fiberglass P-51 Mustang. I think it is quite old as it was sitting in a storage unit for years and then for two more at a fellow club members house. It has foam wings (looks to be about 120" w.s.) and a fiberglass fuse. I am looking for more info on the kit designer/manufacturer before I start on it as I need a canopy and a vertical stab. If I cannot find the manufacturer, I know I can figure something out, but would prefer not to have to. Any help you may be able to provide will be very helpful. I know I did not give you much to go by. I will try to get some pics posted when I get a chance!!

Regards,

Jeff

Everybody and their dog has made at least a couple of fibreglass ,1/4 scale P51's
I never saw one finished tho- or -that actually worked.

A local guy made some -in SLC Ut and sold a few in the US- His name was Tingey-and like the rest--- the project folded.
Good luck on finding parts.

ARE YOU SURE ITS A 120"W/S? NOT 112" OR 102"? THIS WOULD BE A BIG HELP.

I think it may be 112" I just quickly measured the two wing halves that did not have tips on them yet and they were 54" ea. which would put it at 108" w/o the tips. I hope that helps as I am coming up with nothing so far! Thanks again for any help!!

Regards,

Jeff
