Which Paint Gun?
I want to find a paint gun for painting giant scale air planes. I have a small Passhe detail air brush. I've been looking at touch up paint guns. Both Bottom feed suction and top feed gravity guns. Low pressure / High volume. Which works better for painting these planes and why? I know that one will take more presure to use but other then that... Thanks for the help.[sm=bananahead.gif]

HVLP seems to be the way to go these days. I use Harbor Freight guns, work good and are fairly inexpensive. Then again I am no expert either, oh well

HVLP is the only way to go, especially if you are using 2 part poly clears and automotive base coats.
I use the Binks M1-G - finest gun you can use.. its about $350, yeah.. a bit pricey but it will pay for itself in a year. I have painted many things with this gun even used it for furniture! Cleans up easily and has a huge dealer network for replacement parts / gaskets.
I also have the Binks CUB SLG touch up gun, this actually would be perfect for R/C use. Its about $200 best small gun you will find anywhere.
Don't waste your cash at the chinese tool places, those guns suck and it is very hard to get any replacement gaskets, needles, etc. They are throwaways - like use it once and throw it away.. they leak, they sputter.. junk!
I get FLAWLESS results using the guns above, even with a cheapo 110V 2.5hp 10 gallon ($100) compressor from Home Depot.
One quart of clear lasts me about a year (in the fridge!)
