Has anyone tried this Robinson Racing Kit for the E-maxx...?? Reviews? or reccomendations on other kits from tower?

Robinson Racing makes good products. I think you'll be pleased with the kit. Many RR buyers have had nothing but good things to say about them. I myself am not a buyer, but I have checked out some of their products on fellow compeditors trucks. Impressive.....

I like the Ball Bearing Idea and the Easier to assemble Plates! I'm planning my next order from tower and it is definatly included!

I've used the DD slipper kit on a t maxx race truck and it's a decent slipper, but it can be a real pain to get set right because it's so sensitive to tiny adjustments. I really liked being able to change out the spur without upsetting the slipper, this feature was very handy when chasing gearing at the track, but since going back to a 2 speed transmission I have had no need to change the spur so I've gone back to the stock unit since it's simpler to adjust.

hi,
I bought the rrp steel spur gear and slipper kit for my t-maxx and I am really upset with its preformance. It wobbles back and forth(when its turning) so bad that it almost hits the clutch bell.
Other than that it is very strong(along with my rrp steel clutchbell), and I have no other complaints than that one. I know I installed it right and the guys at beat your truck also put it on one of their t-maxxes and it did the same thing.

I wouldn't reccomend it because of all the bad reviews I have read about it.

Ive heard from alot of people that use this, that they would rather stick with stock. it doesnt last much longer, doesnt perform much better, etc. emaxx has all that power, and its throwing all that weight around.
