Anyone recall a giant C5 thread?
In the last year I recall a thread on a turbine powered giant scale transport. I think it was a C5 Galaxy. I recall it being scratch built. Maybe in europe. Anyone remember the thread?
Thanks,
Eric

Are you talking about the one where the guy put his baby in its car seat in the cockpit of the plane under construction? If so, I wonder if he ever finished it...

Bookmark this here clicky. It says on the 'Flight Test Days' link that the first flight should be in March or April and they will post the vid there. I can't wait to see it!!

Wow, and I thought I was nuts about this hobby. I can't imagine a project of that magnitude and the devastation I would feel after the inevitable crash! Gotta admit, sure makes me feel stupid for being scared to death flying my 1/4 scale Extra in 10 to 15 knot cross winds this weekend. I wouldn't even want to taxi the C-17 for fear of something going wrong.
Remember the B-52 that was built a few months ago over in England. Don't know specifics but here's a link to it's demise on Serge's website:

Good luck to him.....
