Lanier EDGE 540 30%
I just need some advice, I'm new to the big iron. I have been thinking about buying a really nice used Lanier Edge 540 30% that has only been in the air once. It has a BME 50 on it. I haven't seen it fly, but I feel that it will be under powered for 3D stuff. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Ryan

RE: Lanier EDGE 540 30%
there is no way a bme 50 will do any kind of 3d. with that motor, you will be lucky to fly at all!! these planes are designed for a 75-80cc motor!!
i have a 3w75 on mine, and for all out 3d, i need more power. a zdz 80 would provide the power needed for great 3d.

What do you guys think about the lanier edge with the zdz 80 twin? Good enough for unlimited vertical climb and unlimited 3d?
Thanks for any inputs
