Default Thanks WildHare!

Today I flew my Edge 540 6 times and smiled all the time. This is the first time since I have been flying (5 years) that I was as giddy and having fun as I have. It's all thanks to this wonderful plane. I am truly greatful to WildHare for creating this plane and having it availible for all to fly at such a reasonable cost.

Thanks!

If you're over $2100 I think you are overdoing it. A top of the line plane can be built for $1,700 using all new stuff.

Here's my setup
Edge 540 $400 This is a very reasonable price for a plane of this caliber.
DA 50 $549
Slimline Pitts muffler $120
DuraLight batteries 2000mah on engine 4000mah on plane. No redundincy at the moment. $140
Hitech 5945 servos on ailerons and Elevator. $85 x 4= 340
JR 8611 on rudder $110
SWB control horns on all servos. $40
3001 servo on throttle $15
9001 Servo on $40
2 MPI switches $30
Dave Brown spinner $40
Hardware kit from Wildhare $75
Futaba DP 149 PCM reciever $125
Assorted servo extentions $40
$2064

oops, I forgot the Carbon Tail wheel assy.
$40ish

No I didn't have to spend as much as I did on everything but I am VERY happy with the results.

Lastly, Why did this get moved from the WildHare forum? It was a direct thanks to Tom and his company. I guess it will do him good to get the kudos but I can never figure out what the MODS here think.

I've seen three WH 28?ers in the last couple of months, with DA & Brison 50cc engines. They are all good performers. Also many 33/. I'm impressed with looks & the quality. From every thing I've seen & heard, they're a good co. & good people. I wouldn't hesitate to buy their prodocts.

Please put reviews of planes, comments, questions you want answered by rcu's general membership (and optionally the mfg since they too can respond outside of their own support forums for questions directly asked regarding their products) into the regular forums rather then the Manufacturer Direct Support Forums. Hope this clears up your question why it was moved as well as the reasoning behind it since it wasn't done just to confuse you or on a whim
I agree. This is not supposed to be a Giant Aircraft forum, just about WH stuff and hopefully just to get accurate answers about tech questions.
