Model Tech Twister
Does anybody know anything about this plane ? I have seen pictures of it on the model tech web site, But I cant seem to find anybody that carries them yet. I have not heard anything regaurding kit quality or how they fly. Im looking for a new plane and this one has me intrigued.

I have a modeltech excite 90 I'm still putting it together but it is amazing quality! I would not hesitate to buy another modeltech plane one day! And I don;t think the plane you want is out yet not sure though.

RE: Model Tech Twister
I have been looking at the .90 excite for some time now and I would like to know others opinions on how the plane performs, and the extent of it's performance.
The Twister does look like a nice plane though, and if it is anything like the Magic's quality, we all should be in for a pleasant suprise.

The twister takes design elements from the Adrenaline 90, and is going to be excellent at 3d and pattern. If the kit is up to YT's usual strandards then it will be very good quality too. Weight of the proto was around 5-5.5lbs so this is looking good for 50size 2 strokes or 70 size fourstrokes. Can't wait for them to come out.

The Twister flies excellent. Not sure when they are out, but believe me, its well worth getting one.
They are soooooo smooth for the size of plane it is. Saito 72 is perfect in it, 82 would be even better.
Cheers

RE: Model Tech Twister
I ordered one from Quantum Models a week or two ago($149.99), and I think you can order from Hobby People. Quantum gave me free shipping.
Still haven't heard anything on a release date yet.
From what little I have found out about it; it sound like it's going to be great.
I'm putting a K&B .48 in mine. I have one on my Twist and it thinks it a .61
