I'm running sidewinder 10/20 percent race blend and like it, I have not had a problem with it yet.

In my past nitro cars I used blue thunder and red alert. According to my local hobby shop those fuels seem to cause the motors to rust whenthey sit up for a long period of time. According to him the sidewinder does not hve that effect and he doesn't even have to use after run when using the sidewinder

Well i have always used Tornado 25% nitro i dunno bout u guys but i have found this fuel very good and does not ssem to be having any effects on rusting etc.

HPI recommends tornado 20% fuel and the engines only under warrenty if you run it on that fuel, they can tell if different fuel has been used. I use 25% Tornado and I find it to be very good, i was recommended it for racing to get the most out of the s-25. Before I was using 20% and when I went up to 25% I could see the difference.

byrosn 20% i ran a gallon of sidewander bash fuel thorugh it from break in switched the the byrons and now it has more power and runs cooler

I now use O'donnels 20% but i run it in with Tornado 20% because thats all my LHS had.

From what I've heard the Byron fuel is better for Helos and airplanes. Why don't you try a quart of car specific fuel and see if it runs better for you.
I'm using 20%HPI fuel now. But I'm going to make the switch to O'Donnels 30% when my new motor shows up.[8D]

I've run:

Model Technics (25%)- This is bad fuel. It not only keeps the temps higher than usual, the fuel actually goes bad pretty quickly. The performance isn't that great either.

Tornado (25)- This was the best fuel of the three in my opinon... Lowest temps of the three, and the car's performance was great... it sounded good and it kicked over pretty easily (I run my truck seldomly, so it takes a bit of effort to start every time)

Byron Originals (25% Race)- Great fuel, top notch performance however the temps are a bit higher than the others...

i use traxxas top feul 20% in my nitro rustler and i will be getting a savage 25 or a SS and ill be running tornado 20% in it

Several opinions on this site state that a lower oil content than the 16% stuff is better. I took that advice and found an incredible performance increase. Plus less oil on the truck after a day of running. Of course the debate of engine longevity rages when you talk less oil content but I would rather get better performance vs. an extra gallon or two of fuel through a motor. Just me though. I have been wanting to try the new White Lighnting 30% but havn't yet. Any one else have? What do you think of the stuff?

I have tried Maxy's, Traxxas, Blue Thunder, and Trinity Monster HP (all 20%) My fuel of choice is Blue Thunder, it's a bit cheaper than Trinity, and I notice no difference in performance. As a safeguard I add 4 oz. of Klotz Be-nol racing castor per gallon, to bring my oil content up to 15%. I notice no loss in performance at all. I prefer piece of mind with some added protection when my engine temps creep above 290F on a hot day of bashing.

Well i use only Tornado Fuel 25% on my Savage and i will run this fuel in my REVO to!! I think Tornado fuel is the best here in germany. O'Donnel fuel is here not available. Only Topsprit and Sidewinder fuel.
