one way bearing

whats the best way to clean the one way bearing on my savage 25?and does it need oiling before i put it back on

Trinity has stuff specifically for that. But I found that some nitro cleaner a light oil work fine.

I tried to put oil and it does not work very well. I think it is suppose to use dry but I have not taking it out and clean it yet.
