hinges on meister p-47 evlvator?
im looking at the way my builder built the elevator section on my meister p-47, and he used per plans the larger nylon hinges for the elevators to be hinged on, using 4 on each side, there big hinges, but there slots are really close to the top, will they work out fine by using epoxy to glu them in? and if so what min. epoxy should i use? he used robart hinges on the rudder, wish he would have used same on elevators, any suggestions guys? ill be flying a quadra 100 prob scale flight at 1/3 throttle. no tricks. just simply circle the field and land thats it[]

The flat nylon hinges with the metal pins on the hinge line are usually secured
by drilling though the balsa and through the hinge holes, and gluing in tooth
picks to secure them. Then the tooth picks are cut off flush with the balsa
and sanded smooth. This will insure that the hinges will not pull out.
The epoxy doesn't really matter....5 or six, or even 12 minute is fine.
