Viojet fan unit question
Hello all,
First of all, I'm not into jets... I fly mostly pattern or IMAC type planes, and now getting started in helicopters.
A friend of mine recently passed away, and his wife gave me all his RC stuff. There are several ducted fan units and engines, mostly .46 stuff. However, there also is a Viojet fan unit, and two brand new NIB OS 65 DF engines. There is also a box with several fiberglass fairings, metal parts (I guess to secure the fan to the engine...), etc... problem is, I do not know what is supposed to be part of the Viojet fan unit... But I pretty much figured out the .46 units.
Since there are OS 65 engines, I sort of assume that they were to be used with the Viojet unit ( no 91 or KBV engines in the lot). I would like if someone could tell me, maybe via pictures, what is supposed to be part of the unit. If the unit is complete and the OS 65 can actually be used with this fan, maybe I'll make the jump into jets.... (will have to dust off the fast planes like the Q500 to get used to the speed again
).
