Savage+LXT Shocks Conversion Kit?
I have brought this up before, and I know that there is a way to convert LXT shocks to a Savage,by some changing the shock towers method....But the procedure was never really made clear to me,and not one person I have ever asked that suposedly utilized this conversion has ever posted a pic of their new set-up,nor told how well it performed and weather or not it was worth money spent.
So to anyone who has done this,or seen the conversion in action>...>Please post some pics,or atleast some decent information about this procedure to clear things up....
Im not even sure if its really been sucessfully achieved or not,but I would like to think it can be and would love to see it in a physical form...
Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated....

RE: Savage+LXT Shocks Conversion Kit?
Yes it is true, u can put LST shocks on the savvy i know i have done this mod
What you will need
-extended chassie .5inch - 1.5inch doesnt matter
-nova shock towers
-set of 4 LST shocks (of corse)
-3mm collars
-offset rims
-4 more long bolts (same as the ones the hold the stock shocks to the stock towers)
the mod is pretty self explanitry. you put the towers, extended chassie and off set rips on the savvy
u slide 3 collars on the top bolts with the LST shocks and u put 2 collars on the bottom bolts
you'll understand the mod when u have all the parts

RE: Savage+LXT Shocks Conversion Kit?
Thanks for the post, but I still would like to see some pics of it completed some time...
And another question is that I seen were you added tha you'd have to have some off-set rims, does that mean that you can only use the LXT shocks with RPM's and Pro-Line 40 series velocity wheels?....They are the only two that I know of right off that carry off-set wheels, and niether are really that appealing to me.... Or is there a conversion kit out there that off-sets any rim?
Anyone?

RE: Savage+LXT Shocks Conversion Kit?
8 LST shocks is just overkill
POINTLESS
if u have 8 it would cost a fortune plus u prob wont even need shock oil cause it would b so stiff
