Default Jets for Wren 54 mk3

Hi guys, I´m looking to buy a new jet for the mw54 mk3 turbine. I have seen in the web the yellow f-18 and f16, and also aviation design raphale but not much info in their web page specially in the yellow one. Does anyone know how this jet handdle, building complexity, details, panel lines, rivets, etc???

I´m not a kit builder so I´m looking for something that doesn´t need a lot of building work, hopefully an ARF.

Also any other airframes that you guys might consider good ones let me know.

Thanks in advance for the help...

ypu said your not a kit builder,
but try the Thorjet F20 + Hawk kits,
not much building is required, take a look:
http://www.thorjet.co.uk

all the the Thorjet plans + kits are suitablr for the
54.
Feel free to ask any questions.

I´m looking for more scale type jets. I can build, I just don´t want the problems involved when building a kit versus the arf.

not up on the F-18 single but the new version F-16 is very scale for the size, very; very high amounts of detail when built right.

As you don't seem to be keen to do a lot of building I would avoid the BVM models which , while they are excellent kits, the build can be quite intense and time consuming, The yellow F16 is probably a good choice, but again a bit of building and finishing which will probably take as long as the construction.

I would go for the Skymasters Hawk which you will put together in less than aweek, it is strong ans is available in three colour schemes and is avery good price for what you get. All the hardware fits and ther is plenty of information on this forum.

The 54 mk 3 will fly it ok.

Tam's new F-16 is coming out soon, then there is the A-10x (okay sorta imaginary scale) Some of the Byron jets (if youi can find them) can be converted; Skymaster's F-22; etc..

IMO
SKYMASTER is the kit mfg you are looking for. Almost RTF, just add servo, retracts, etc. shake the box & stir Presto with a little work you can have a "Scale" looking aircraft.

Wow, I even forgot about this post. I actually got an F-18E from Skymaster and an Artes Super Eagle for the jet. I think it's going to be the right combination. In the process I even became a dealer for both companies ...

I must say that the kit is excelent and the details are great. I am in the process of building it, and it is extremely easy. The turbine looks awesome, and I hope to be testing it next week.

Thanks for the sugestion anyway...

As posted above, do you know this fun scale F-16 already? seems to be a interesting option for your turbine..

Yes I have seen the Tam F-16, but for the Wren I actually got a yellow F-18 single. It is a great match, and flies great. This is actually an old thread so I got the F-18 about 4 months ago.

Thanks anyway for the sugestion...

Gracias,

Michel
