Fuse Wing tube suggestions?
Hey Guys, My Jack Russell made short work of the 1 3/16 wing tube that is supposed to go in the fuse on my 80" 540 edge. Any suggestions on what I might use instead? I've been measuring pvc pipe at Lowes but no luck so far. Any chance you guys at OMP have a couple inches of cardboard tubing laying around you could spare :-)

Thanks Email sent. In the meantime I'll keep looking for something else. Darn dog , anything hits the floor she thinks is for her amusement.

Hey geebob I feel your pain only double. Here are my guys. I wouldn't take a million dollars for them though. I really have a couple of great dogs. Good luck with your plane and dog. John McNees

John, you are insane with that doghouse....it looks better than the house YOU live in! LOL
Bob, I replied to your OMP email. I've got plenty of tube stock and would be happy to send you a piece. Just email me your address.

John, We have two jacks and a golden retriever so we're dog gone crazy too :-) I know that anything that hits the floor is fair game if I'm not looking. As you can see I started her young and its hard to tell how much scrap balsa shes chewed up from this kit.

Geebob,
Ah, she sure is cute. Thanks for sharing her with us. I mailed you out two short pieces of tube for your replacement Wed before Toledo! One is for you and one is for your puppy!

Hey Mike,
I'm beginning to think the postal gods chewed it up but I found some tubing at a not so LHS monday that I put in the plane last night. We've had some pretty weather and its been killing me just having the fuse sitting there. I've got the wings and tail feathers covered, slots for hinges done and motor and servos just waiting to be installed. Gotta get this puppy flying.

Well good you found a hunk of tube but dang I took special care and attention to mail those just before leaving for Toledo! I sent two pieces each about 2.5" long. Well anyway keep up the work and post some pics later.

I appreciate the effort Mike and I'm sure they will turn up eventually. It was so nice to put the wings on the plane last night. It looks impressive. I'll take some pics and get them posted soon.
