AHHRRRGGHHHHH!
I hate that situation! I already had a subscription from 1999 til 2002 and had the same problems with "lost" issues that time. About a third of all issues didn´t make it to my home, therefore I quitted subscribing. This year I couldn´t resist to make another try - as it seems with the same result.[][:'(][:@][sm=punching.gif]

I got mine 2 weeks ago.
Some time ago a issue was lost by mail. I notified to RCJI and after a week I received the lost issue. Very good service.

Yes, I had the same sort of mix up when I renewed a subscription, I did not receive the first edition after my renewed subcription. Quick email to RCJI had the 'lost' issue to me within a couple of days. Great service!
don't dispare, just let 'em know.

Thomas,
I used to get my RCJI Magazine for several years by subscription.
I stopped that now.
To be honest, I phone my local hobby store to see if they have the latest issue in.
I then go down my LHS, get the latest RCJI Mag, talk some B.S. and purchase a few items.
I now get RCJI at least one week earlier than by subs.
Do you have a LHS that can get the magazine for you ?
Regards.

RE: RCJI Subscribers! Already received April/May-Issue??
THX folks!
Jesus & Dave, I´ll try to get the lost one, for shure. I did so in the earlier years, but never got a replacement. Maybe service is better now.
Spartan, if it would be that easy, I would go for it. No LHS within 100 or so km. I´ve a good magazine-guy in town, but would have liked to get my issue earlier and without any hassle. I´ve paid for a TWO year subscription, starting with THIS issue - and it seems to start with some kind of trouble.
I don´t understand, why these guys seem to have some trouble with delivering their stuff to their customers. I buy many things from all over the world, it works EVERYtime, no matter where the stuff comes from, it never gets lost. I get a parcel from the US as fast as I get it from Austrias capital Vienna, just 400km away, if I order some stuff online at sunday night, I get my parcel on the following friday - from overseas. That´s how it should work in a globalized world. I think in terms of customer service and -care the US are formidable. But with british magazines (and just to make things clear, I like the brits and their spleeny way of living) - everytime the same stuff. I was in 3D Computergraphics business for some years and had a subscription for a very good 3D magazine (british - of course, but not Traplet intl.). Same story, One out of four issues lost - no replacements. It was real BS. But I gonna look if customer service at Traplet has improved.
Hmmm

Always seem to get mine on time. Ever considered it could be the postal authorities in your area are the culprits (a tight fisted jet modeller on the payroll..purloining them) ?[>:].

If anyone is having problems with their RCJI subscription, please email me: [email protected] and I will make sure that your query is passed straight to the Manager of Customer Services so he can investigate the problem.
