Aftermarket Header for the 2.5R
I am happy with my pipe, but I have gone through two headers in three gallons. Is there a tougher after market header that will work with the Traxxas pipe?
On an unrelated note, I replaced all four wheels with the new hurricane (sp?) wheels available from Traxxas (slightly different design), so far they are holding up good (my stock ones were a mess, cracks etc). FYI, boiling the tires works great, I had all four tires off with no damage to them in 15 minutes or so. The new wheels were only $11.00 a pair at my LHS, not bad at all...

Thanks that one looks good. I'll give it a try. Wow is the 2.5R loud when that header lets go!

RE: Aftermarket Header for the 2.5R
I had that header and it started to fall off all the time. I just took it off and got yet another stock header. I even flanged the qoncepts on before I installed it like it says in the instructions. It also leaked and I had oil all over the place with it. It might stay on better if you get some small metal clamps like you use on a radiator hose on a car. After this header breaks I might try that.
