Default QQ 37% Yak 54

Here is my new QQ yak .. I built this plane over the winter and test flew the plane yesturday!! and what a plane. i have a DA150 with MTW canisters. Jr 8611 all the way threw the plane and a Futaba 14 MZ for some sort of guildance, one reciever and a powerbox champion for all the servo power.
The kit was very nice a composite Fuse ,and foam core wings and tail. the fuse is mostly nomex, with very little carbon and kevlar. so I guess you could say that the plane is fireproof, and bullet proof.lol.
I flew it yesturday and the plane is great . it rolls very well, snaps are very clean and stops when and where you want it to.and the presence in the air is good . this plane just groves threw a sequence. with only two flight on the plane i feel like I need to fly it much more ,but I feel very comfortable. i have to see as the year goes on..

Well, that is real nice there buddy, but why don't you go post this somewhere that people who can afford one will appreciate it. I guess you fail to realize not everybody is rich like you obviously are. Nice plane, but not all of us have 10K just sittin around like I guess you do. In fact, just who do you think you are coming into this forum and prancing that plane in front of our faces, knowing that most of us simply cannot afford such equipment. Some people, I bet you used to fly pattern.

LOL jeff
I'm not the big UPS pilot that tries to rub two nickles together to make a dollar. I'm just a simple guy that gets what I want. quit waisting your money on those cheap profile and get a plane that can fly well.. lol.. you'll get to fly it soon.I'll make a road trip to Louisville soon so we can practice..

OK, so now that you ratted me out DeweyD. Everyone now knows I was just harrassing you. Looks good, I do not want to fly it unless you make the fuselage a profile. Just kidding, I love full figured planes too. My 2.6M yak 55 might be ready to fly tomorrow, so come on down and lets git-R-don.

Dewey,

The plane looks fantastic. I've heard nothing but good things about these planes. Keep us posted on the flight characteristics. See you in Clinton?

Extra the yak is a totally different plane.. I only have two flights on it but one thing i can tell is that it is beter to pull threw alot of my vertical snaps.. My extra last year was so big i had a hard time getting it done.. Also the yak has very little to no mixing ,. i do miss my extra, but I realy enjoy my yak..
Stacy i'll call you sometime soon. I'm planning on flying probably this morning up in milan so maybe you can come up there and fly with me.. I'm in saint louis with work but I'll be back around 10 am. i can try to help you as much as I can. I am glad i didn't go to the Imac judging seminar this past weekend.I have spoken to andrew and I really do feel bad for him.. but things will work out for him.. he has a great family and a ton of friends that are willing to help. He really needs a plane now so he can practice, and I'm sure he will get plenty of stick time on my plane. Anyways if you can fly today lets do it. I could use the help myself. I'm still trying to trim my plane. see ya dewey

i am not sure if that it true or not....i am clueless as far as it goes to replacement. i have no idea what they are going to do....all i know is that the plane is valued 10,000 + without labor......i cant hardly afford to spend 5 thousand on my self..let alone a plane i will never fly....lol..i also agree that the person should at LEAST pay half....but thats just my opinion...

Enough about this. It has been beaten to death on the IMAC lists. Yes, he was shot down. Yes, it was a mistake. And yes, it was a good friend of Andrew's who is the culprit. And yes, he is paying for a new plane. Let it go. It sucks for everyone involved - especially Andrew. But you don't see Andrew on here complaining about it.
