wrinkles in H9 ultracote
I just got the H9 cap arf and it has quite a few wrinkles in the covering. I would like to know if it would be better to use an iron or a heat gun to take these out?
Thanks

Use your iron on all edges/seams, at high heat (375 degrees- UltraCote starts to melt at 400 degrees). Then go back and "glide" the iron over the wrinkles- they should pull right out. You can use a heat gun, but I've found that judicious use of an iron gives better results. Just glide it over the areas; you're not pressing a pair of pants, here...<G>
I think it is very important to ensure that all edges/seams are sealed BEFORE shrinking out the wrinkles. That's what I'm going to do to mine when I get around to assembling it.
