Best muffler for a g23 in a Taylorcraft
Hey guys:
I have a g23 that I put in my Taylorcraft. I have the Bennet muffler but its a loud one. I though I would buy a slimline 2102H9 which is a rear can made for the Taylorcraft, but someone on the field told me don't buy slimline they are loud buy bisson.
So I looked at Bisson and the mount inverted, working on a rear can version now. I asked how loud he said 98db which is up there. Said he could put a baffle in it to make it less noisy but it will cost more, and baffle is not removable in case I don't like it.
Called slimline to ask about the sound level they don't have any stats, guy said he could guarantee me less than 100db but that means nothing! If he could guarantee less than 95 db then OK, but less than hundred means it could be just as loud.
What do you guys use and what do you think is best?
Thanks,
