Default Savage got a makeover...

added some new wheels, tires, exhaust delflector, and shell. I am trying to make the Jeep shell like the old Cj's. Painted the doors solid to give the full canvas door look. Now I am looking for some decals to do the Renegade strips and hood decals. Check out my Gallery for more pics and let me know what you think.

I hate the wheels too. Get a set in black or red.

If you go one ebay and search for 'Savage Tire', there is a set of tmaxx tires with red wheels going for $0.99.
Or get some maximzier beadlocks...

Looks good. I am also partial to those rims in black. But as long as you like it thats all that matters

Is there anywhere I can get a pre-painted Jeep body?

I figured the wheels would be a no-go with most people around here. Grabbed those wheels becuase they are the closest to the old factory wheels and white was a popular choice then. I am working on another body with a more modern truck and some black beadlocks. This one is just a little retro.

and I have never seen a prepainted jeep body.

just what I was going for. I am going to go with either the grey and black or red orange and yellow. they offered them in several combos.
