truck tuning almost perfect!! Need help.
Well I have a nitro stampede and I finally tuned it good and it is blowing blue clean smoke. But the thing seems like it has no power until i floor it then it flys. I dont have an exaust on it because it is no good anymore. Could that be the problem? Also when I push the gas a little bit it doesent move much until i go close to floored. Like it wont go slow so I gotta floor it and let up. This is the first nitro truck I have had and its used. I finally got it to idol.

not having any exhaust on ure truck will be running the truck lean as hell as you have no back pressure to push the fuel through that is why it wont be running right
if i were you i would save for a pipe as you are doing damage to your engine not runnning a pipe on it

I just put an exaust on it and changed the needle again. It is running good and idols except it still seems like I have to push the throttle alot to get it moving. Like when I push the throttle a little bit like 1/4 to a 1/2 it will raise the rpms but not move much. Im a noob at this sorry. Thanks for the reply!

Id say its your tuning. By the sounds of things your truck doesnt cut out so your idle might be fine. Just check by pinching your fuel line and if it speeds up and dies at around 3 seconds its fine and finally once your low speed needle is tuned lean your high speed needle slowly bit by bit until you reach desired speeds and are happy with the temps,.

no do the high speed needle first always the high speed neddle first as this determines how much fuel goes to the low speed needle then idle these are basic things you shouyld know for nitro trucks leaning the low and then the high would make the low extra lean as you are taking away more fuel from it
have you checked your linkages thay might not be sitting tight so the servo will still move but it wont be pushing the carb open
