Default Me again... trany this time...

Anyway, I just got everything put back together (although I have 2 screws left over. ) and now the car runs funny. At first it would rev pretty high before making any movement, but then something clicked (literally too) a few runs later and now it revs REALLY high before just shooting off. Also, while it was still only reving moderatly high before moving it would never hit second gear.

Anyway, i'm gonna play around with it some more this evening before checking back here again... if nothing happens I'm just going to take it in to the LHS tomorrow before coming home. Man, I would really like to have my truck back! I've gotta race this weekend with my brother in law and dad again! lol

But, it's still fun, and now when my dad breaks his like I did, I'll know what to do next time. lol Doing this all for the first time makes me kind of nervous.

Thanks again you've been VERY helpful!!

Tighten your slipper clutch! Tighten it all the way down and then back it off 1/4 turn.

Took it in to the shop as the clutch didn't do anything... found a pin in the main shaft that had sheered off. lol Got some new (spare) gears, and now she runs GREAT! Although now that it's 90* out it's a bit twitchy... but after some tuning it should run good again.

Phew, just in time for the weekend family races! There are three of us T-Maxx owners, and one soon to get the fourth. (my dad, brother-in law, and my brother will be getting his next month probably) Wohoo!

Glad you got it fixed. I am doing parts upgrades to my Revo today and hoping I don't run into problems.
