Ok so today i took apart the engine as its been lying about for a year and has bits and all in. So i cleaned it all out and then put it back together.

I then tryed starting it and its seems that when you pull the pull start its harder to pull than before, and besides that it is not even starting. When it does it cuts out straight away.

When i screw the glow out its seems to pull fine. I just do not understand. I have a feeling that there is a little bit of air getting in just at the top of therefor not allowing the cylinder to go up as easy as it should be not allowing it to start and when it does cut out straight away as there is to much of a force.

So if this is right how the hell do i get rid if the presure, and if it is not this what can it be?

I also noticed that the cylinder case does not slide it that easily, and when it is it, the cylinder slides to near the top then a litle more tug is needed to complete the cycle, if this is the problem waht can i use to losen it up?

Any other possibilities, please say them.

Thanks very much.

if you put the engine together correctly then the reasoon it is harder to start could be added compression. when you put the engine together did you line up the holes in the sleeve with the holes in the block?is your air fuel mixture right? is your fuel stale? if these are not correct the engine will not run. put up another post if you notice these problems or others
