CA Jet-Together Part Two
I think the date's been set, the weekend of the 26th, 27th, but what about where? I've gotten permission from the powers to be to have it at the Model Masters site at the Rosamond Lakebed on Edwards AFB. Advantages over Rabbit, organized frequency control and a different location to just move it around some. Disadvantage, you'll need AMA or UMA and if flying a turbine, AMA and a waiver.
Here's a link to the Model Masters website,

The club is very interested in jets, and while there may be some who will sport fly with us, I'll bet the majority will be happy to watch.
Let's decide!

date
Mike,
The date is a monthly one. 26th/27th is for this January. The Cali boyz are trying to do this once a month as an informal 'jet together'.
If it's the 26th at Rabbit I can make it and will offer to be the frequency control dude to help out. I can also bring a generator and my charger/dc power supply. The 27th is my daughters birthday and would be hung if I didn't attend. I'm inbetween a flyable jet so I'll be willing to help out with frequency policing. If it's at modelmasters then you won't need me and I'll just show up and absorb the inspiration.

I may have a digital camera by then too... I'm studying consumer reports tonight.

Vote for Rabbit
I vote for Rabbit. I figure lots of fun and no politics, just like last time. Ooops, one slight change, I want to come back home with all my planes intact.

Rabbit
If Rabbit wins the vote i'll be there....also hope to get a sign off for my turbine waiver. Been flying a Roo at the local dry lake beds here in Las Vegas. Only 4 flights so far, but hope to get a bunch more in the next 3 weeks.
