Default LiPo cells for Projet ECU?

Hello All,

Has anyone any experience of using LiPo cells with Projet Hornet ECU?

I have a new Frank TJ74, that I got some quite light 8 cell 2400mAh NiMH set, but it seems, that the voltage drops a bit too much in the startup and this might quit the start.

Projet recommends NiCd:s only due to high current drawn in the start.

Basically a 3 cell LiPo should be quite close match to 8cell NiCd in Voltage vise, but what is effected in the ECU with the "nr of cells" setting?

Any info is appreciated.

BR,
Jussi
