Mixing proportions for millitary colors
Does anyone know where to find the mix down of the US. military colors?
I need the proportions as mixed by the primary colors, ie; red, yellow, blue.
Thanks,
Mustang51

Try calling Jerry Nelson at nelsonhobby.com. I spoke with him recently and he can mix any color in his fuel proof paint line. He can also probably direct you to the right proportions for mixing your own.

Thanks for the reply. But you see, HE is the reason I am starting this thread.
I have been trying to get flat clear from Nelson paints for the past seven(7) weeks. I have made five, FIVE (5) phone calls to him over this period trying to get clear from him. I have been given a host of excuses as to why I haven't received it.
I assure you, coming from a supposed professional businessman... they have been poor ones at best. This has held me up in finishing my airplane.
I have already found a water based polyurethane clear in gloss, satin, and flat. If this proves to be nitro, and gas proof, which I believe it will, I will pass it along to the rest of you. The company I am dealing with also has colors. The problem is... they need to be mixed to achieve the color selection "WE" desire.
