Default Jet Jocks in Germany

Hey jet flyers, I will be in Frankfurt Germany from 3-8 weeks on business. I will have weekends free.
Are there any flying fields close by where I could go and check out the jet flying?
I will be in Frankfurt around 8/22/05. Thanks for any info.......Spiritwind........

Hello Spiritwind.

I'm in Denmark, so I can't tell you exactly where to go in that region, but I would like you to know, that there is a Jet Meeting ( AMT NL Jet Meeting in Cologne) on August 27th and 28th. See pics from last years event [link=http://www.amtjets.com/airshow2004/amt_jetmeeting_2004/index.html]HERE[/link]

Hi Spiritwind,

so you still will be in germany on September 16-19. If so go the the Jetpower fair in Bad Neuenahr. Maybe 1.5 hour drive from Frankfurt.

Hi Spiritwind!

There are a lot of jet-modellers in the Frankfurt-area. Just to name a few of them:

Thomas Gleissner (jet world master; Albatros, Cougar, Panther, Mig21, Hawk, ASK21 turbine...)
Stephan Völker (2 times jet world master; big Hawk, Skywalker, Albatros)
Michael Bräuer (Concorde)
Peter Michel (big 747, big A 380, Concorde....)
Marc Fröhn (composite-arf, MiG 15, Eurosport, Rookie II, Lightning...)

and companies:

Airworld
Skygate Collection
Bräuer Modellbau
Jet Team Liebetrau
...

This should be enough for a couple of nice week-ends.

BR,

David
