Default Electric conversion

Hi Josh !

I intend to buy a mini electric ARF Funtana by "e-flite" and power it with an OS .30 4 strokes with .5 HP and 10.4 oz. The kit is 37" WS and originally asks for a park 400 brushless 3700 or 4200 KV. Do you think I can get success for 3D flying with that airborne ?

Thank you for your attention.

Default RE: Electric conversion

The Mini Funtana is a very delicate structure. It is intended for Smooth electric motors. The Glow engine would probably shake the plane apart. I am not so sure its a good idea but I cannot really say as I have very little experience with the Mini Funtana. With the weights I have seen RTF in electric Mini Funtanas I think the Glow would be too heavy.

Thanks
Josh Glavin
