novak 5800 in tt01

Default novak 5800 in tt01

Can the tt01 handel the power of a brushless and if so, how long will the tt01 hold up? Sorry if this is a frequent question. Thx

I have the same intend, getting a Novak SS5800 for the TT01, do you think it works..?

why wouldn't it?? it might be a hot motor after running so get a good heat sink.and better gears so the motor wont strip the gears. i guess it'll work fine[sm=RAINFRO.gif]

Depends, few hop-ups necesarry. Aluminium Drive shaft,ball bearings, Low pinion or big spur but with the fixed motor mount that would be vry hard, and also I would recommend universals for smooth movement. The egar diff is probably fine, may even work better than the ball diff

Actually Brushless motors do heat up just no where near as easily as brushed motors, So yah get a Heat sink, but it isnt that big a deal.

You definently gonna want to change the gearing, because that gear raito was probably made for a 19T motor not a 9 Turn Brushless Motor.
