Just curious if any one knows if George Miller and Steve Korey are
modeling or out of it. Both dropped out a few years ago. Just remembering some guys from past doings.

The F-8 is my all time favorite plane. I started working on my again along with the F-117. I got a friend thats helping me on the F-8. Man, that's a pile of work! I have no idea where to get a Miller F-8 kit. Good luck.
Thanks Mr. Whodaman

Whodaman thanks,
Time of completion, I'm not sure, I'll just keep plugging. Tell your friend to stay in touch.
As for George not really looking for him just thinking of the past.
I'm 45 now, seems like I live more in the past everyday. :bananahea

George
Back in the 80's when he was a player in the jet world I use to see his stuff. He came to the Greater Southwest Fan Fly one year with a pile of models F4s, F8, and so on. I think he left with one. He was a gamer. O course I smoked mine in to.
It's amazing how many pieces a model jet makes when it goes straight into concrete.
Don't know about that A-26 thing.

What Happen?
It must have been the movie "Always" by Steven Speilberg.
I have JD Enterprises Crusader just about done for Ram 500 power. When all is said and done, I would have preferred to start with the miller kit, which does not have the big louvers on top for air, and it HAS to have better glasswork and parts fit than THIS one...
If you can find Chet Brown, he pokes around here, he is a real crusader nut, and he has one of George Miller's built models that was used in some film, plus at least one JD kit, and maybe a Miller kit, too...

Hi David, I am in trouble now
Hi David:
I sent my friend Jim to your site and he flipped. He would like to know how you are going to do the gear? He said he would throw everything of the bench. to do that puppy. He was a judge at the scale masters for about 12 years. We all use to hang out with Norm Goyer and Burt Baker, who Yellow got alot of there planes from.
As for the Movie, you are right, it was Alway's. We were at a show over in Marin California and Geroge was showing off his A-26. Well he got in big trouble with Steven Speilberg for displaying the plane before the movie was out. I also saw several of his planes go in. He never flew his A-10. It was all show. But it did look good.
