Anyone flying a Cristen Eagle from Great Planes with a DA-50. If so, could you give a run down of your experience.

Thanks

Hi,

There is a long thread in the ARF forum about the GP Christen Eagle. A number of folks, including myself, are flying with the DA-50. I love the combination and find that it had more than adequate power for anything I want to do. There is some cutting of the cowl to accomodate the head and spark plug of the DA-50, bit it's not too bad..... You'll need to get some 2.75" standoffs to mount the engine for a perfect fit! I got my from Roger Forgues at [link=http://www.aerografixs.com/]Aerografix[/link]

Good Luck!

John
