he was banned for his stupid mistakes he made and argued with the moderators. Thats not someone to idolize. I dont see why he is so "godly". More like a PITA.

Moderators are here to keep the peace first and foremost. They are here to enforce the rules for the good of the members. Providing answers is secondary and anyone can do that task whether a mod or a member here. Speedmunkey and pede had another agenda here recently and so munkey is on moderated status while pede is banned for going overboard. He was never a candidate in our eyes for a moderator. Product knowledge has zero to do with being a good moderator. Cops keep the forums in order for everyones enjoyment, experts don't. Now they can be a headache to another forum and I'm sure eventually if they pull the same stuff there they will be forced to move on from those venues as well.
