If its a kit just put it between the spars into the foam and make it so it joins like the plans ...slide the wings together and assemble like original.
I had a Giant Stinger and it was a pain. I then built a stick with the same wingspan and as i was building it made it 2 halves joined by a tube and pin. Worked great and the wing was the only thing that survived my spin into the ground.

Sorry it was before I was digital!! I did find that I worried unduly about strength, take peak inside an arf 2 part wing if you can and it will be obvious how to build it.
The new GP Ugly stick is a similar wing although not foam and has a really short tube but the mounting idea is the same.
