FUEL TANK SETUP FOR 41cc US ENGINE
I have a question that maybe you can help me with. i am building a Pitts with a 41cc US Engine. I need to know how to set up the fuel tank. There is obviously the feed that goes to the carb, but the vent is to go to the muffler? There is no hole to put that hose in on the muffler. Any ideas of what i am to do with the vent tube??? Also is medium fuel tubing big enough?

Just vent the tank to the atmosphere. Set it up like you would a tank for glow engine, but just let the tube that would attach to muffler just hang. Tank height relative to the carburetor is not nearly as critical, either, as MinnFlyer said, the Walbro has its own fuel pump. Mine is set up with a fueling valve so I only have a two-line setup, but you can make a three-line also (third line for fueling, plug it when not in use).
I like my -41 a lot. It seems to get stronger the more it runs, I'm turning either 18-10 or 20-8 props, depending on what's available at the LHS

Also, take the vent line and wrap it around the fuel tank one time then vent it out to the atmoshpere (or just create a small loop in it. That helps keep it from dumping fuel when you are inverted.
