Aeroworks katana 36% comes in at 26lb 6oz
Just a post on the Aeroworks Katana 36% ARF, I am putting together.
Finished up assembly and weighed it dry, 26lbs 6 oz. weighed with commercial scale accurate within +/-0.25oz.
Will weight 28lbs 6oz with fuel.
Plane has following,
DA100 engine with 4 custom engine stand offs and 26x10Menz prop-no spinner
7 hitec digital servos
2 2100mah lipos 3 cell receiver power + regulators 10 amp each
1 1900mah nicad ignition power
32 oz fuel tank
futaba 309 receiver
Will post pictures later when weather permits.

Most any internet map site, MSN, mapquest, Google, etc will show you where Broomfield is located... It's NW of Denver on Colorado SR 36 near the Jefferson County Airport... Parker is of course SE of Denver near that toll road 470...

Servos are HS-5955TG and HS-5645MG. Budget is all I could spring for now.
It is a big power hog for the digital servos.
I am still deciding on a trim scheme for now.
I will fly it at the Boulder BAS field.
