Default Glow Igniter and EZ Start

Just wondering if I was to use a Glow Igniter with the T-Maxx EZ start system do I still need that Blue wire that goes into the glow plug? Or do I no longer need that wire? I am guessing it is simply for the EZ start system to heat the glow plug. I have heard that it makes the EZ start actually start the motor faster to use a glow igniter. Thanks.

Correct. If you use a seperate glow plug warmer the blue wire is no longer needed.

Using a glow igniter just saves on the starter battery...

It does save SO much time on the battery. I used to have to charge mine every day I ran, now I can charge it and just not worry about it till 3-4 runs.
