Accel Hobby Katana 40 / video
This is the new rage at the field I fly at. These planes are the cheapest 3D ARF I have found and they are great to practice all your moves before tearing up that more expensive plane you have. It can do anything that can be thrown at it. The amount of these sold on ebay suggest they are pretty popular. What do you think?

Absolutely fantastic!. I just purchased a yellow one and a white one on Ebay for forty dollars a piece plus twenty to ship. The GS40 model makes a great plane to just throw in your car and fly. Also a good warm up plane.

I read that to but I don't really understand what they mean by the wing holding area because the plane is a profile design and the wing is epoxied to the fuse very securely. I will say that the quality of this ARF is first class. It sells for 149.99 on the Accel website plus 10.00 for shipping. I assembled the white one in one night and was so impressed with the design and quality I logged back on to Ebay that night and purchased the Yellow GS40 for 41.00 plus 20.00 dollars to ship. Definitely cant go wrong for that price. I will post pictures soon.

Here's a video of my Accel Pitts.

I also have the Katana 70 and can say that it flies a lot better than the pitts. Not sure on the Katana 40 but on the 70 the wings are removable. It has a piece of the fuse that is glued to the center section of the wing, then this peice slides into the rest of the fuse to attach the wing, kind of stange setup. These planes are talked about on the probros site. The Kat 70 has had a lot of wing failures, I'll probally go ahead and get the V2 when it comes out as the Kat 70 V1 fly so good.
