First… Use some punctuation !!!! It’s incredibly hard to read one long sentence.
Second… how can we give advice, if you don’t want to really say what you’re doing, because you will “give too much away?â€

RE: 3 wheeled TMAXX
A question for you.
Why in the world would you want a 3 wheeled t-maxx? It's not going to enhance anything... you might get a few "oooh's" and "ahh's" from the little 6 year old neighbor kids, but other than that, it doesn't do anything for you.
Revo's are nice, keep the revo, buy the maxx, keep them both the way they were meant to be... WITH 4 WHEELS!

RE: 3 wheeled TMAXX
yeah why on earth would you want a three wheeled nitro car where you would loose stability especially in turns ? remember the three wheeler ATVs that are now illegal to buy or sell because of the safty hazard ?

Hey… stop your crying. I never said don’t do it… but you didn’t give us anything to go on. You can’t ask for input if we really don’t know what we are giving you input for. (other than 3 wheels)

I don't understand. You come up with an idea, and people (no offence here) .....on the internet.......on a forum.......
tell you not to do it or that its a bad idea and you completly give up?
If you want to do it then MAN UP and do it.

Yeah, how in the hell are you gonna do this? I guess you could make it go straight, but the turning is going to be the hard part.
Also, why not share your information? The more you share, the more we can help, and maybe the better we can see the possibilities that you're seeing. Plus, we might be able to help you work out some of the bugs and what not. Just a thought

Maybe you could use the front wheel and suspension from a nitro motorcycle like this one:

Not sure if it can be done or would work, but it's a thought. There are a few different nitro motorcycles out there, this is just one I could find quickly. You are still going to have some major fabrication to do.

RE: 3 wheeled TMAXX
Also, why not share your information? great question nicholsm04
probably because he thinks someone will take the idea, i would guess that he would make it, build it into a kit and try to sell it... but the question is who would buy it.....
rustlern4tech... are you the same person that posted this same thing on the t-maxx forum at traxxas.com? i would assume so? looks like some people on there like the idea.
heres a question for ya, y post something like this if you won't give out any info about what ur tryin to do other than turn it into a 3wheeler? and you dont like peopls oppinions about it? exactly what are you trying to do here? ok my bad thats 3 questions.
have you thought of the fact that you will have to rebuild the entire front end, unless you are going to use a really small wheel under the skid plate, if you want a decent tire you will have to eliminate the front bulks, skid, bumper, shock tower, and body posts. if you ask me them body posts are kind of important if you are planning on running with a body. so if you can mill your own alum to rebuild everything up there to make it work thats about the only way it would work and not crumble up on ya. from what i gathered between this forum and traxxas.com, you dont even know what you are going to do, you just had a random thought and u decided to try it before thinking of anything you will have to do. just a few things to think about before getting yourself too deap into the thing and relizing someting may not work.. i mean 400 bux for a maxx, not exactly cheap. here is one other thing to think about, buy a sprotmaxx or stadium maxx, you dont have the front drive train that you will have to pull out... not that it will be too hard and sure you have no reverse and a single speed but i wouldn't wanna run this thing too fast.
this was all meant in a nice helpfull way, please don't take it the wrong way

RE: 3 wheeled TMAXX
if u are goin to do this, do not do it to a t-maxx! the ride height is too high and it would be a wast of 500 bucks. but a cheap stadium truck cus if it does not work then u did not wast too much money and the ride height is alot lower which would be alot better for turning. if u do this to a T-MAXX i will hunt u down and smack u sooooo hard u would regret wrecking a great truck.and im sure if any hardcore rc guys saw it they would do the same thing i would!
P.S. it's a very stupid idea. it would be impossible to handle and would look sooo gay!!!
