Default How to Make and Install Foam Tape Servo Mounts

I have used these type mounts enough to have gained a lot of trust in them. The only thing I don't like about them is that it is more difficult to remove the servo if necessary. Once the plane is complete I almost never remove a servo, but while building it seems like they are constantly going in or coming back out for whatever reason.

Other than that I've never had one fail me or noticed any mushiness in the control or trim problems.

Some guys use them almost exclusively and can tell us ways to improve on my method.

Servo tape can be used for gliders, and throttle servos if regular servo rails
are not available. I wouldn't use servo tape in a powered plane and risk $500.00
on a servo that is not securely anchored down, and could possibly pull out.

It is securely anchored down. I wouldn't use a servo that isn't in ANY airplane.
