canopy all fogged up!

canopy all fogged up!
I tried cleaning some goop on my canopy off with "goof off". That proved not to be the best idia!
Now, my canopy on my corsiar is fogged up, and i can't seem to get rid of the fog!
does anyone know how i can mangage to fix this?

A new canopy or paint the one you have. Sorry about that !! An after thought, I have cleaned one up with a real wet solution of tooth paste, just be carefull as it is very abrasive when dry.

Had a similar experience a few days ago. What worked for me was to go to the autoparts store and get some 1500 wet/dry and some Turtle Wax polishing compound. Using soapy water I sanded the canopy till smooth. Then I used the polish. Took a while but no marks are to be seen.
In researching this problem I came across an article that had an alternative solution. Sand smooth and paint with clear hobby poxy. I do suggest if you want to try this to first test on a scrap.

Once you have done one of the above suggestions paint a coat of FUTURE floor wax on it and it will be crystal clear. I've used this for years on both my plastic models and my RC. Anytime you have a canopy thats less than stellar.
