hi can you make the savage gearbox less ie one speed so i can have no gear box in the set up as i hear the unlimeted monster truck clash usees them

if you retain the first gear only you will fry your motor and be really slow!!
Unlimited use one tall tall gear and a very powerfull motor so there is no compromise on torque or speed. A 28 is just not good enough to cover both.
But to answer your Q - yes it can be done.
