Default Turbine sport jet

Looking for a little help with the purchase of a good sport jet. I would like to hear some of your opinions on sports jets. Am looking for one that flies really well, not that intrested in blazing speed and prefer to build rather than fiberglass. Have looked at the PCM AV8R, DV8R, and Boomerang. I fly off of pavement and dirt feilds. I need something that will slow down quite well for landings. Power would be a Jetcat P-60,70, or 80 range. ANy help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Voodoo

take a look at the Facet 2300. all wood construction with foam core wings. I flew mine with a P-80. with the P-80 I was clocked at a jet event at 131 mph at top speed and at 24 mph on my landing. Now I have a P-120 so I am not sure about speeds

Take a serious look at the DV8R. It is big, flies well on a P80 and is grass field capable with the 4" mains. It may not look the best but none of the planes mentioned can compare to a bandit in the looks and/or speed department. I like it because it is big and has ample room for all your gear under that big forward hatch.

Another vote for the Reaction 54. It is a great flying, tough airplane. Perfect for what you are looking for.

Get a Boomerang! Many of my friends have these and they are a blast to fly. I own 4 jets myself and I'm still bumming stick time on my bros BOOMs. They are too much fun. My pal has a Boom powered by the Artes Superbee. His was clocked at 147mph on radar.. Now thats moving... All that said, they fly GREAT are are rugged enough to take some beginner punishment...

I highly recommend a DV8R, its an awesome flying plane. It goes very well on a P-80, and I think its better looking than the Facet and the AV8R, and well, *anything* looks better than a Boomerang
