Actually it took 5 weeks to build, but whos counting?
Anyway it may be "just another Bobcat", but I really like this one since it is MINE!!

The only thing it lacks now is installing the engine and cleaning up the plumbing inside the fuse. I hope to test fly on Sunday.

Real Jet ??
John,
Every turbine powered airplane I have built and flown in the past 7 years has been a "real jet".
What I finally got with the Bobcat was a "lazy man's jet", i.e. one that didn't require any thought or re-designing to make into a good flying and safe airplane.

Nice looking plane! Did it really only take you 5 weeks to build? Are the wing foam or built up?

The Bobcat wings are built-up ... but it's an extremely quick and easy build.

Yup, I started buiding it on 10-13-02 and I will test fly it tomorrow.
The wings are built up, but because of the laser cutting and good design they can be completely built in about 2 or 3 evenings.
Thanks for the compliments everyone!
