Spoken to Mike regarding DF blade. Attached is Mike's reply

"Having said that, we are currently working on tooling to make new blades that are stiffer then the orignals for better outdoor flight, and are predicted to be more efficient.
These blades will be the same price as the originalls more then likely so if you just wait a month or so , you will probably get what you want.

Spectrolutions inc."

BTW, Is sanding the edge important ? Because I am still flying my DF with unsand blades from Spectrolutions.

Yes, sanding the blades' leading edge is very important because it reduces drag. Try using a set that has been sanded and see what kind of difference it makes and let me know. Mike said that sanding is highly advised for lift and motor efficiency but he doesn't do it because of the labor involved. I guess that's why DFI charges more for their finished rotors. They sand each one with a beveling machine but they said any rotary tool with a sanding head should do it just fine. Just try to make sure that it is even all the way across. Laminating the rotors not only strengthens the entire blade but makes the leading edges and entire surface area even smoother to slice through the air easier.
