Wich engines???
Which engine is the best : Moki 180 gas or the Mark 180 gas
MVVS 160 gas
Roto25
Evolution 160
Zenoah G26
This engine is for an Hangar 9 Cub 100 inches span on floats.
Thanks Guy

RE: Wich engines???
I eliminated two instantly if it was my list, the Moki and the Moto. The Zenoah is a proven quantity, the other two are too similar to separate. Oneis reported to have been experiencing issues with running backwards in at least one displacement size. I hate when that happens in the air[X(][&o]

RE: Wich engines???
Well, you've actually asked two questions. The first question is "what engine out of the list of engines is best?" That, my friend, is complete personal preference, and you'll never get a good solid answer.
The other question (which is a question you never actually asked) was "what engine out of the list would be best for a Hangar 9 100" Cub?" Well, not speaking from personal experience, I'd say the G26. I once had a G23 (the predecessor to the 26) and it was a wonderful engine. The only problem I had with it was it's weight. That may have been my fault. I had it on a Pacific Aeromodels Laser 1.20. That being said, the Cub you're speaking of is probably going to need the extra nose weight the 26 will give you. It's been said that particular engine is pretty stout for it's size/weight too. It also has the reliability Zenoahs are renowned for.
Simply my take on it.
