Revo Body
Does anyone have a good trick to keep the stock body intact on the Revo? Besides the obvious not crashing. I am now painting my 3rd body for the Revo. My son and I keep trashing them. Is there a trick I can do to keep the body from breaking? It seems to always split in the wheel well, up the side of the windshield. And the rear body mounts virtually rip out through the body. This makes the body virtually useless. I was thinking about gluing some clear lexan material inside the body in the weak spots to strenghten it, but will this damage my paint?
Is there a body for the Revo that holds up better than the stock Traxxas bodies? I like the stock bodies because the fit good and I don't have to cut out the wheel wells and stuff. But, I need something more durable.

I zip tie through the weak points, not so tight that it rips the lexan with some small resistance, but tight enough to hold it together. it works really well for me.

i actually use fiberglass on the inside of my basher body. around the body post holes and int the front and back. it works great. you can get the fiberglass and epoxy at a hardware store.

I might try patching the old body with fiberglass and see how it holds up. That would have to be stronger. As for the new proline bodies, do any of them come precut? How hard is it to trim the wheel wells and cut the holes for fuel and the cooling head? They look more sturdy, but I have never trimmed one before.
