Discgolfer72... I have the same motor as well as a few others from the same era... They work fine... I'm not sure what ntc3669 was saying about being carefull... The bearings are stock and easy to find as are the brushes.... The new epic motors are better but these still work fine... By the way.... I like the old futaba servos you have in the picture... I have a bunch sitting around from an airplane someone gave me that I gutted... Cannot fly the old stuff at the fields anymore without getting someone all upset....

wish I could do that except I like that field... Unfortunately, the older electronics are sort of broad band and all the new stuff is narrow band... Very easy to convert to narrow band.. I know of a few locals that do it for a few bucks...
I have a few older nitro trucks... specifically a Kyosho zr1 corvette, Kyosho usa-1 nitro crusher and several vintage airplanes... I don't like to fly them too much as they are completely irreplacable... One my father built from plans... can't remember the names anymore...

yea i guess with the vintage planes u have a bigger chance of breaking them but its still nice to see the old stuff running/flying esp if they can knock the pants off some of the new stuff that some guy just dumped all his money in to and thinks just cause its new it means its the best

their are more than a few ticked off guys at my local track cause they spent 400 bucks on their new stuff and my 20 year old rc10 thats only got about 120 -150 invested in it is kicking their @$$
