nitro truck
Hi,
I want to get into nitro rc trucks. What would be the best one to get? And which one would be the best on a budget? I am planning on jumping it a lot, so it should be durable.
Also what do you think of the ebay hongkong trucks? Any good??
And what would be the best place to buy them in Canada? Or shop in the USA that would ship to Canada?

RE: nitro truck
well you did ask what i think right?hmm i wouldnt ,not to realible and parts might be hard to get check the availability of parts for a particular truck in your area that might be a wise decision also you dont want to break down and have to wait forever for parts this hobby is not that cheap but if thats your budget then go ahead and have a blast just remember it costs to play hard sometimes[8D]and a rc 10 is a great beginner absolutely

RE: nitro truck
your better going with a bigger name brand truck also from the looks of the pictures it seem cheapily made go to your local hobby shop and see what they sell and what they stock thats the best idea you dont want to be waiting around for parts.your better off paying a little extra for a good truck that will hold it tune and be durible than buying a cheap truck in the end it may be alot of trouble or parts might not even be available for it..

RE: nitro truck
All the stats on it are incorrect for one, plus the whole reason people get hobby grade r/c's is because they can get replaceable parts and hop ups, you cant with the one you posted. Its a cheap chinese made product that you'll be lucky to get two runs out of.

RE: nitro truck
dont buy the himoto i have one and they break really easily and the replacement parts are hard to come buy you have to order them from teh website, go with a revo or a savage even though it is more expencive they will last longer and the parts are easier to come, like you could go to the local hobby shop and get them there

RE: nitro truck
the cars, trucks and buggies that you are all talking about are not redcat or himoto. The real name is actually Hispeed or HSP. They are made in the South of China and are marketed under whatever name the marketer wants if they are willing to buy enough of them.
The VX motor is actually made by a company named Chun Yang in Taiwan. They actually make some motors for other top companies such as Academy and Mugen Seki. They also make the FEEND motors you can see in Australia.

RE: nitro truck
Just a question for ya, when you say "trucks" do you mean a stadium truck or a monster truck? Have you considered a buggy? If you dont want the matienence and paying $20+ a gallon of fuel you may want to look into something with an electric brushless system. They have no matienence, fast, and good for just bashing around. If your interested in stadium trucks I highly reccomend a Team Accociated RC10GT!

RE: nitro truck
For 300$ you could go with the RC10Gt or if you want more durable and more power for that price, go with a CEN MT2 or Magnum. The magnum is just a newer upgraded version of the MT2. www.cenracing.com
